Homelessness.

Too many struggle.

I do believe there is a solution.

It isn't an easy solution.

Street medicine is a place to start. We can reach out to them, individually.

Everyone values their health, so it is a universal approach.

Interview.

I anticipate my interview at ESFCOM on 8/24 will be a fairly difficult day. I prefer long conversations; MMI is difficult because you must be a "waiter." A station is a meager 7 minutes, certainly less than your average patient encounter. I must adjust to each station: the prompts as well as the faculty member.  It is vital to present all viewpoints for any given scenario. Physicians cannot miss things. It's an expectation for me to intrinsically present a wide perspective. There is a rubric for each station. If I don't fit the rubric, I don't get a good mark. More than a single poor mark is likely to be a waitlist or rejection. My motivation to medicine has gotten me to the door, but I have to prove worthy of stepping through the door.
